There are two ways to import your
Contacts data from
other programs:
Importing from Outlook and Outlook
Express
To import your contacts from Outlook or Outlook
Express make use of the Pre-Configured option
(recommended).
Importing Contacts from other
programs
To
import your contact data from another program using a delimited text file make
use of the Importing contacts
from other
programs options.
Note: If there are data fields
(such as memo fields) that have more than 100 characters
then when possible use
an Excel spreadsheet because there is a text limitation
with importing csv (delimited files). This limitation does not exist in an
Excel file (xls). There is no limitation to exporting.
Also note: You can open any CSV file in
Excel and then save the file in Excel format by using the "Save As"
command in Excel. Then use that file to import your
data.
