Mark as Claim Not Submitted

There may times that you do not want to submit items lost to your insurance company for whatever reasons. However it is a good idea and recommended that you at least mark those items as a loss but not submitted for a claim. Then Archive them. Doing so will allow you to have a history of items you did own and were lost due to a disaster. You may even be able to deduct the loss on your tax returns.

The process to mark them is the same as the other marking processes.
