Inventory using Insurance Company List

Below is a snap shot of the Insurance Item list. Use this list to inventory your items by a specific insurance company. Additionally it will give you a tally at the bottom of the window of the number of items and dollars insured by a particular insurance company. Each record you add will have this insurance name automatically entered in the company name field of the item data entry form. As in all list the buttons are used for the same procedures. Also see auto scroll and Search to learn more.Changing the policy number and or name will update all of the items listed under that policy to the new policy number and or insurance carrier.

What if I have items that are not insured...?

If you do not have insurance or if you know you have items that are not covered by you home owners or renters insurance then, if desired, you can create a policy called NONE or No Insurance or Items Not Covered (whatever fits your liking) with a policy number of NONE . This will allow you to add items and will display items with no insurance when working with a Specific Insurance Policy. See below images.

Below the insurance policy called NONE was selected because these items are not covered. Selecting another policy such as State Farm would display all items insured by State Farm.
